Wide Play (Drill) (25 mins)
Organisation:
2 players start in each wide area, as well as 1 CM and 2 ST in central area, these play against 3 CB and 1 CM. Starting from the CM, the ball is played wide into a RM who delivers a cross. Opposite wide player attacks as well as both ST and CM. After the ball is dead, the ball is now played into the opposite channel, changing the point of attack.
Progressions:
-CM plays into ST before playing wide
-Ball is played into player in the channel, who plays a pass down the line into the other player
-Wide player presses after passing
