Description
As we did yesterday, will start with some technical work and fun games until everyone is there.
Make sure to keep the kids moving, nothing worse at at tryout than kids standing around waiting.
Focus for today is going to be on their positioning, catching ability, foot work, and decision making.
Looking for:
- Catching ability rather than pushing shots away
- Decision to come off line and collect ball
- Being brave to go at some ones feet
- How good are they with their footwork to get set for shot
- Do they know where they are in the goal

2v1+Keeper to Goal (15 mins)
2v1 + Keeper to Goal
- Keeper in goal is regular keeper and starts play with distribution to 2 attacking players
- Defender is allowed to use hands to win the ball
- If Defender or Keeper win ball they look to distribute to waiting player

This needs to move fast so that we don't have players standing around
Split kids, half by the post half behind the poles
Make sure to switch up the ball, some should be close to goalkeeper, some should be 50/50, some should require a shot to be saved

- Coach plays ball out for keeper in goal to make a decision
- Red player tries to win ball and score
