Objective: Improve ability to dribble and run with the ball and perfrom various cuts and turns to protect the ball

Running with the ball
Organization: players start on cones on same side. One player runs to ball and acellerates on dribble around cone and then leaves ball for next player
Progression: pass to teammate while running with ball through middle of grid
Exercises:
Outside of foot turn - right
Outside of foot turn - left
Inside foot - right
Inside foot - left
Sole of foot
Player actions: accelerate with first touch, low around cone, accelerate out and get head up to see field, anticipate next ball and begin moving proactively

Protecting the ball
Organization: 1 ball per 2 players. Player perfroms move at cone, passes to teammate, and continues run.
Exercises:
Spin-out right foot
Spin-out left foot
Spin-in right foot
Spin-in left foot
Player actions: outside and inside foot chop to protect ball and put body between ball and defender (cone), low in move, accelerate out

Running with the ball - relay race
Organization: Cones are spaced 5-10 yds apart. Players dribble out slaloming through the cones. After rounding last cones players dribble straight back with speed. Once player crosses last cone next player begins
Player actions:
sprinting with the ball
getting touch out in front
