SET UP: 4 CONES 5 yards apart. Have players 10 yards back.
INSTRUCTIONS: Defending shape (following the command) The coach calls a number, and the players who have started wider than the 4 cones come in to take a compact shape.
Using the concept of the Pressure player, Cover player, and Balance Player, the other players will get into position.

SET UP: 30x30 Box with a 10x10 Yard Box in the middle. (4) Even teams of players. 3 Teams on the outside with 1 defending team in the box. Each team on the outside will have their own ball.
INSTRUCTIONS: For teams to play a pass through the box to their team mate.
FOCUS: 3 Players as a unit defending in a compact shape to limit the ball penetrating through the central area. Limiting distances between defenders while cutting down the passing lanes. Rotate defending team every two to three minutes.
PROGRESSIONS: Allow the central defender to leave the inner box for a max of 5 seconds and press a player with the ball.

SET UP: 15x25 yard grid with two end zones of 10 yards and a 5 yard zone in the middle. (3) even teams of players each wearing different color bibs. Each team will take up a zone.
INSTRUCTIONS: The coach will serve ball to one team in an end zone, and the team in the middle will send in one player into the end zone try to win the ball from the team in possession. The team in possession will try to complete 3 passes before sending the ball through the middle to the other end zone. Each team gets a point for every successful ball put into the other zone. If the defender or the team in the middle wins the ball, then the team in the middle will switch with the team in the end zone and the process will repeat itself.
CONSTRAINTS: Make the grid, bigger or smaller depending on the ability level, or how much success the teams are having in possession. Create two touch limit, or have everyone touch the ball before it is put into the other zone.

Agility, Ball Skill Warmup (15 mins)
SET UP: 20 yard long course with 4-5 cones spaced apart, and 2 cones 5 yards beyond the first set.
INSTRUCTIONS: Have the players perform a series of skills through the cones. Once they reach the end of the cones they will pass to the next player at the next cone. They will then follow their pass. The receiving player will proceed to pass to the next player who will then receive the ball and dribble it to the end of the opposite line.
VARIATIONS: Add in different moves that need to be performed. Change up the direction of passing and movement to cones.
FOCUS: The main goal of this part is introducing, practicing and developing their ball control. Creativity is important, having contact with different parts of their body, footwork, make them make their own decisions, solve game situations, increase the communication between each other and gain confidence on their skills. Increase difficulty of the variations progressively. Push players to work with both feet, moment to also focus on their weak foot.
