An introduction to ball mastery (Skills, turns and touches)
Introducing basic ball mastery skills in football is essential for developing a player's control, confidence, and familiarity with the ball. These skills form the foundation for advanced techniques, improving dribbling, passing, and shooting accuracy. Mastery of these basics enhances a player's ability to perform effectively in competitive match situations. (Bate and Hargreaves, 2009) states that as a coach " we present the basics of execution and quickly progress to its successful execution in match situation".
