Organization:
1. Set up as shown. (12x12)
2. 2 yds between cones.
3.10-12 players.
Instructions:
PART I:
1. run to furthest flag, cut back and sprint to teammate.
2. Tag teammate and game continues.
3. Competition: When players arrive to when they began they sit down. 1st team to sit wins.
PART II:
1. Players perform turning tecnique (Inside-Outside chop)
2. Make diagonal pass to teammate on the opposite side.
3. Swicth sides.
4. Perform TURN that protects the ball from BLUE "defender"
Coaching Points:
1. Slow down slightly before turn
2. Bend knees (allows acceleration away)
3. Transfer body weight onto front foot to help to push away
4. Make sure your final touch is slightly out of your feet
Progressions:
1. Make into a competition.

Organization:
1. Area as show n (20x15)
2. Two groups of 5-6 players.
Instructions:
1. Player 1 dribbles to middle zone.
2. Defender closes space, Player 1 performs
turn into the opposite direction.
3. Player 2 show s w ide at an angle, Player 1
pasess ball to Player 2.
4. Player 2 plays pass to Player 3. Player 3 take
1st touch forw ard and dribble into middle zone.
Rotation:
1. Player 1 becomes defender.
2. Player 2 becomes becomes CF.
3.Player 3 Becomes dribbling player.
4. Defender (4) becomes w ide player in south side.
5. Player 5 becomes CF in south side.
Coaching Points:
1. Player dribbling w / head up to see opponent/space/support.
2. Timing of turn: Where is the pressure coming from? / Where is space and/or Passing lane?
3. Get foot around ball (inside/outside chop) with ankle firm, or proper technique with sole of foot on top of ball (hook)
4. Check over shoulder to see if option to play wide is there.
5. Movement off the ball (sideways on with feet on line)

Organization:
1. Set up as shown (15x15yds)
2. Lose your marker grid (3x3yds)
3. 6 to players per grid.
Instructions:
1. Players start in grid shown above. Attacking players attempts to lose marker.
2. Once attacking player checks to ball, defender follows.
3. Attacking players shields the ball while looking to turn and dribble through blue gates.
4. If defender wins the ball, they score on counter goals.
Coaching Points:
1. Keep body between ball and defender.
2. Low center of gravity (Bend knees)
3. Place arm in “L” shape on defender to create separation and help balance.
4. Use far foot to keep ball away from defender (Keep ball moving)
5. Turn to open space and accelerate past defender.
