Each player starts without a soccer ball. (Allow the players to set the challenge for what they must do if they get tagged)

Rep 1 - Let the players decide

1) Focus on how a player is dribbling (Type of touch, what part of the foot are they using, where are they looking, arms out for balance)

2) Scheming - How can you manouvere away from a tagger?

Activity 2 - 1v1s (15 mins)

Activity 1 - 1v1s

Players play 1v1 with the opportunity to score in 4 goals. If one players scores, they give it to the other player and they start with the ball. The only rule is that they can not score in the goal that they have just scored in. Can players try to focus on shooting in the goal when they have created WHAT (Time and space)?

Rep 1 - 90 seconds - Score in any goal (1v1, if the defender wins it, they now become an attacker)

Rep 2 - 90 seconds - Focus point - When 1v1 with the defender, how can you create space to score against them?

Rep 3 - 90 seconds - Focus point - (When you have created that time and space, what speed do you need to get to the ball at?)

- WATER BREAK -

Rep 4 - 2 mins -Pairs w/ bandits (1 per pair - a bandit is assigned to each group - If they win the ball they can score) Focus Point - (Where can your partner stand to prepare themselves for the shot?)

Rep 5 - 2 mins - Pairs w/bandits (The bandits are free to run anywhere - If they win the ball they can score)

Rep 6 - 2 mins - Pairs w/ bandits (The bandits are free to run anywhere - If they win the ball they can score)

Players will now go 2v2 in their respective area. Can players try to focus on shooting in the goal when they have created WHAT (Time and space)?

Rep 1 (4 mins) - Both teams can score in any goal

Rep 2 (4 mins) - Must use their partner before they score

Rep 3 (4 mins) - Identify 2 goals each, they are the only goals you can score in.

Rep 4 (4 mins) - Can not score in a goal which has already been scored in.

1) Where do the defenders when the goalkeeper has the ball? When the ball has been distributed where do you now go back to?

2) How can the GK distribute the ball? Do you have to kick it? Can you control it to dribble?

3) How can we use the quick throw-in?
