Session Designed to provide repititions in situations that demand a chance of direction. Solutions to involve both feints, dribbling, running with the ball and passing.

Three teams. 1 team is defenders trying to Tag. Eveyone with a ball. Talk about recognizing space an evading defenders. Look for different ways to turn, move and manipulate the body and ball to get away.

Come off the line (attacker and defender) with movement through the red gate. Once through the gate, the Attacker tries to get to right or left flag without being tagged. Attacker then to use ball. Then have defender use the ball as well. Progress through this and encourage high energy, fun, cheering, ect.

Server (S) plays the ball across grid to attacking team (A) who begins 2v2 game agianst defending team (D). Game is live until goal is scored or ball crosses endline. If ball goes across your endline (through shot or goal) your team is off and next two are up. Objectives are to identify moments when to exploit space/opportunity to attack in front of you vs. when to turn and play away from pressure into better spaces/opportunities. Encourage variation in techniqes to do so.

Increase field size as needed for 3v3 (vs 2v2). Coaching Objectives are to encourage playes to assess when and where to attack/penetrate vs. when/where to change direction with moves/passes. Continue to encourage multiple techniques.

Wall Work Warm Up (20 mins)
Groups of 3/4 - Dribble, Drive and Pass to Wall. Upon receipt, perform skill move and/or change direction, around cone to side. Start with just straight passing and receiving. Progress to vary the skill, vary the movement. i.e 1. Right Foot, Left Foot, Inside & Laces. Pass, Receive and dribble 2. Turn into Relay Race 3. Receive and feint one way, then move other (scrissor, step on step out, chop, cruyff, ect)
