Technical Warm-up cont.: Passing & Receiving
A. Passing & Receiving: Grid: 30x25; 12 players - 2 or 3 teams - ratio of ball : player - 1:3
Groups of 3: Find two players not on your team (or that you don't know)
5 Blocks x 1 minute
i. Payers pass ball to open player and then go and find someone else.
CP: What must you do before checking for the ball? Check shoulder/ why?
ii. 2 touch max
CP: How should you receive the ball if you have space & time? (open Body Position)
iii. 2 touch max (no verbal communication)
CP: How should you check to the ball? (angle of support)
iv. 1 touch max
v. 1 touch max (no verbal communication)
Coaching points: Angle, Body Positioning, and Checking Shoulder are the big three. Address coaching points between each progression. 1 Touch teaches vision and awareness. It will look sloppy but have them do this for 5-7 minutes. Peaking, receiving hips open, weight of pass.

3v3 to small goals or 4v4 to big goals with sweeper/keeper
Grid: 20x30 yards. Arrival game.
- If ball goes out of bound, first to go and get it, starts with the ball
4v4 / 5v5 Games:
4 x 2-2.5 min
Organization: 30 x 20 Yards (Why? reduce amount of running)
Ball Supply on each end of goal
