RULES

Starting player passes the ball into the attacking player who has a defender pressuring from behind

- Attacking player attempts to direct, turn, and protect the ball to dribble past the defender and over the starting line

- If the attacker takes more than 3 touches then they can use the starting passer as a supporting player in the help space to play 2v1 to dribble over the line

- If the defender wins the ball they should dribble out of the space in any direction (away from pressure)

Point for attacking players if successful

2 points for defenders if successful

PLAYER ACTIONS 

IP

- Scan for defender location

- Feel for defender location (hands and arms)

- Hide the ball

- Play in support when unable to turn

RM

- Beat or meet ball at opponent

- Use upper body to increase pressure

- Small steps and lower body when close

- Tackle ball with force to separate attacker from the ball

RULES

3v3 in the possessing area.  3 players waiting in other half

When the defending team wins the ball they try to play across to the waiting 3 and remain in the space they regained possession in

1 point each time the team who loses possession regains it in the same area before the ball can be switched

PLAYER ACTIONS

IP

- Scan for defender location

- Look to play through open windows and around closed windows

- Moment to play forward= when more defenders have stepped away from the center line than stay near it (2 or 3 step up= play behind. 1 or 0 stay back= play in front to draw defenders)

RM

- Immediately block opportunities to play across

- Squeeze together to close forward passing lines

- Direct ball to a corner to win it back

Goals scored equal 1 point

Additional point earned if the RM team can win the ball in one of the two corners in the opponent's half

- Squeeze centrally to force wide first

- Immediately step into wide spaces when ball travels there and win it or keep it there
