SUWFC Technical Group Session
Basis of playing the ball to team mates to get into attacking third.

Time: 20 Minutes
Organisation:
-As previous exercise.
Exercise:
-Basis of the exercise is the same as previous but this time blue team can engage and tackle.
-If players lose possession the play restarts by blue at opposite side.
-Play for 5 minutes then switch with teams in other grids.
-Rotate till come back to original groupings.
Key Points:
-How to perform the drill in competitive scenarios.
-Is their panic under pressure?
-Forward thinking enable the ball to moved quickly.

Time: 30 Minutes
Organisation:
-Set up a 30x20 pitch with 3 zones 20x10 and 2 mini goals.
-Split into teams of 6 with 2 of each group in each grid.
Exercise:
-Play starts with red team in own defensive end.
-Same princples as porevious exercises they have to get the ball through each set of grids to final grid to score.
-If turn over possession opposition counter attack.
-Play 5 minutes then rotate player positions.
-If spare team use as common players on outside and switch teams on and off.
-If time allows progress to one player can move out of te grid to the next one to create overloads 3v2.
Key Points:
-Utilise the space availabke to get into position to receive and move the ball.

Organisation:
-2 10x10 grids per group.
-Split players into groups of 8.
Exercise:
-Ball starts with player red.
-They pass the ball to red in their grid.
-That player then passes to red in next grid.
-Ball is then played to other red player who takes ball over the line.
-Blue just shadow the reds and donnot challenge.
-Blue then perform the same routine.
-Continue this back and forth repeatidly and increase the pace and tempo.
-Do 3 touch, then 2 touch and finally 1 touch.
Key Points:
-Sharp movement at angles to enable the fast passing.
