Instructions:
1) Ball starts with coach to be played into (6) or (8's)
2) Must complete (2) passes to then release an (8) outside grid to begin 2v1 on flank.
3) Striker makes attacking run to goal > 2 CB mark / PROTECT GOAL.
4) **If defensive team wins balls in grid they can score thru gates / counter goal on pass
5) Attacking team can counter-press and immediately release an (8) to begin 2v1 in wide area.
PROGRESSION:
A) Play back to (6) to Change Point of Attack > opposite FB in behind using WEDGES for the run.
B) 2v2 in Wide Channel > Defensive (6) slides out.
Coaching Points/Questions:
1) Ball carrier driving at defender.
2) Timing / speed or run for underlap and overlap.
3) Creativity to find solutions.
4) Aggressive mindset & forward runs / movement / passes
