Players follow their pass, 8 players are active in each sequence with extras lined up at the start
Sequence is pass into "midfielder" (1), pass out to "full back" (2), pass along the line to "winger" (3), "winger" runs through gate then passes to striker (4) then sequence is duplicated for passes (5), (6), (7) and (8)
ENCOURAGE
- moving off the marker ("the defender')
- name on the pass
- opening their body to receive in direction of the next pass
PROGRESSION
Add a second ball
Add a third ball (this becomes a very good piece of intense fitness work as they are constantly passing and moving)

Same sequence as before but go back to 1 ball and passes 7 and 8 are replaced with a shot on goal at a keeper

3v1 possession
Reiterate importance of using passing triangles to maintain possession, moving off the ball, finding the correct angles, helping out your team mate who is on the ball
Players play in groups of 4 (3v1) or can be 5 (4v1) if numbers dictate

Use the 11's goal to give keepers and outfield players practice at the bigger goal
Players play ball in to the coach who lays off for a shot
Vary the lay offs and rotate keepers as necessary
Freedom to add in any other shooting drill as you see fit
