Organization:
Instructions:
Player 1 will pass the ball to player 2 who will move sideways to receive and will lay off the ball to player 1 who will pass to player 3. Player 2 will check in to player player 3 and will perform and quick 1-2 passing. As player 3 receives the ball player 3 will dribble a bit and pass the ball to player 4 who will do a 1-2. *Players need to receive the ball behind the cones to have a better body shape, curve run and receive with inside of the foot.

Organization:
In a 15 x 15 grid
2/3 players per cone
Instructions:
Player with ball passes to right and runs left - as pass is being made the player across from the player receving the ball will then press that player.
Coaching Points:
Communication - I got ball - force left/right.
Angle and speed of approach.
Defensive stance.
Proper distance and spacing
Progression
Pass Left and move right
Players choice can pass and move to either side
Defender is active - if defender wins the ball twice the rest of the group should do 10 push ups!!

Organization: 30 x 30 yards. 4 against 4 and three goals on each side. One ball.
Instructions:
1. Players try to dribble through goals to score points.
2. Game is restarted with kick in if ball is out of bounds.
3. Three teams rotated every 4 minutes.

1. Pressure and closing down quickly.

4. Recognizing correct moment to press.

Final Game - 8v8
Set-up: (Half Pitch or More)
- 1:4:2:1 vs. 1:4:1:3
- Let them play
- Defensive Team: Back 4, 2 Holding Mids,1 Attacking Mid & GK
- Attacking Team: 2 Wing Backs, 2 Holding Mids, 1 Attacking Mid, 2 Wingers & 1 Striker Plus GK
- Let them play for 5 minutes before stepping in.
Coaching Points:
DEFENCE:
- Observe thier pressure on the ball.
- Is there cover
- Is there balance off the ball
- If the dending team win the ball can they play quickly to counter & attack the 3 goals at the halfway line.
- As the ball is played from left to right or viceversa, observe at the movement of the defending players and how they set-up and stay compact.
- Know when to press and to delay.
OFFENCE:
- Observe the movement of the wingers and Att Mid. Are they finding space? Playing in Between the lines? Can the striker pull away of the shoulder of the defender or alternate with the Att Mid?.
- Are the wingers looking cutting inside to become goal scoring options?
- Can the Wing Backs get by the wingers to provide width and alternate overlapping options.
- Can the Holding Midfielders alternate and become offensive targets with late incisive runs?
- Can the offensive team adjust quickly in transition when they lose possession to delay & avoid a counter attack?
- Can we Switch point of attack by switching the ball from one side to another to find the right opening?

Step 2 Sprint/Fast Feet (10 mins)
Sprints/Fast Feet (Some speed and agility with the football.)
20 metres apart with 6 or 7 cones 3/4 metre apart each. Leave at least 7 metres end gaps on either side.
1. Sprint, In & out with inside of both feet slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a side foot Volley before returning back.
2. Sprint, In & out with outside of both feet slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a laces Volley before returning back.
3. Sprint, ln and out with Right foot slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a jumping Header before returning back.
4. Sprint, ln and out with Left foot slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive on chest and volley back before returning back.
5. Sprint, Toe tap slalom between cones slalom - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a half volley pass before returning back.
6. Sprint, Roll-over to outside of foot slalom between cones - Up and back - Leave Ball on last cone & receive a one touch pass back before returning.
