Football/Soccer Session (Advanced): K.CHOUPIN _ Turning_U14_Skill Application

Technical Application (20 mins)

Organization:

• 3 lines, three cones per line, 4 players per line.
• 3 players are located at the bottom, one opposite end.

Instructions:

• A pass to B, B pass to C, C dribble toward the middle and perform Ronaldo shop and pass the blue gate by dribbling.
• If defender is front of the attacker, Attacker can make his Maradona turn, go straight or perform a stop-start.
• Defender starts his run after the attacker 1st touch.
• B&C Switch side to perform the Maradona Turn with the left foot.

Coaching Points:

•Contact with the laces

•Big touch to attack space

•Head up after every touch

•Awareness of next action

Progressions:

P: Perform a Maradona Turn or a chop or U-Turn to change Direction.
