Pitch geography:
20m x 20m bigger square.
5m x 5 m smaller square in the middle
Players are positioned as shown in the diagram and choose a captainto lead the team
ORGANISATION:
1.Ball server plays to midfield who spins and pass the ball to the player on left flank who then passes the ball to the player opposite the ball server.
2. Play will then resume from the other end again going through the middle; end to end play.
Progression/Development:
1. Server passes direct to the winger then to midfield or the other winger then to the server.
COACHING POINTS:
1,Encourage players to move to receive the ball, call/shout for the ball
2.Play players where they normally play on match day
3. Encourage midfielder to spin/turn like they do in a game situation.
4. Passing(in feet/space in front), ball control.
5. Play with head up and see your team mates.
6.Quality decision making-when, how, where to play the pass.

20m x 20 m outside square
6 equal inside sqaures each with a player including coach.
Each team has a captain who should lead his team.
Organisation:
Possession, Passing and receiving
1.Red players in possession aim to play through the blue players, they need to try and shift the opposition in order to create a passing lane, the attacking team behind the defenders must try and move into space to receive the ball and keep possesion as shown in the diagram.
2. Defenders must communicate and work to win possession.
3. The pair that lose possession move into the middle and play continues.
COACHING POINTS:
1.Encourage players to communicate and work together to keep possession or defend as a unit.
2. Quality of pass, ball control, play with head up
3. Players motivate each other eg, We can do this together!

WARM-UP (15 mins)
WARM-UP:15-20 mins including water-breaks
SET-UP:
20m x 20m square.
1. 5 warm-up stations of: 5 big cones, ladder, 5 hurdles/passing arcs, 5 agility cones, 5 speed rings.
2. Each player is allocated a training station
3.Coach asks players to do the following depending on training station: jump, hop,zig-zag etc
4. Players change training stations after every 3 mins and each player to have a go at each station.
COACHING POINTS:
1.Start slowly and increase intensity so players can stretch their muscles and improve fitness levels.
