This session is focused on plyometric work with an emphasis on deceleration using steps. The objective is to improve the goalkeeper’s ability to control movement, absorb force, and transfer it efficiently into technical actions such as handling and shot-stopping from different angles and frontal situations. The session is divided into three progressive phases.

Phase 2 – Angles (Full Deceleration + Save Action)
Description:
Work moves into the goal. Goalkeepers will operate from different angles, focusing on full deceleration before executing the save. Actions are simple and realistic from angled situations.

Phase 3 – Frontal Zone (Deceleration + Impulse + Same-Side Reaction)
Description:
From a frontal position, goalkeepers will decelerate, generate an impulse, and transfer into a same-side ball action with a short reaction component.
