Organization:
4 teams, each in their own area with one ball in each group. Players are numbered 1-4.
Instructions:
1 - Play 3v1 keepaway in group. Whoever looses possession becomes the defender.
2 - Competition between groups - When the coach calls out a number, that player leaves their group and moves to the next group over (clockwise). Once there they try and force the other teams ball out of the area. Mean while their teammates are attempting to maintain possession. The team who's ball is alive the longest wins a point for their team.
Coaching Points:
- Make field big as a team - heels on the side lines, face the field.
- Recognise where and when the pressure is coming from
- Movement - two options for the player on the ball at all times
- Communication - Voice and hands - as ball travels
- First touch away from pressure
- Quality of pass
- Disguise and deception - Outside of foot, no look
Progressions:

Organization: 2 teams are set up as shown, with each occupying a half of a grid
Instructions:
On Coachs command a ball will be played into one of the teams, the team that has the ball must possess the ball as 1 of the players from the alternate grid will come into their area and try to win back the ball and play it across to their grid. If the team in possession manages to get 5 passes, the defending team will send over another player into the opposition's grid, this can continue until the other team regains possession of the ball
Coaching Points:
Head up to assess the pressure and where our players are
First touch away from pressure
How can we support the player in possession, to give us more options to retain possession
Can we provide support prior to the ball getting to the player.
When we gain possession of the ball we must look to play away from pressure
