5v8 to Goal (Part A) (20-30mins)
- Two teams
- Three target/neutral players are at the top of the field
- Players are restricted to their zones
- Attacking team attempts to score a goal
- Midfielders are eventually allowed to join forwards when they have possession in the attacking third
- If defending team wins the ball they play to the neutral targets to get a point
Coaching Points
1. Defending team must put pressure on the ball- slow the play down
2. The more pressure on the ball, the less mobile the attacking becomes

Overlap Passing
Overlap Passing cont. (10-15 mins)
- 1-2-3-4-5-6 is the order of passing
- Once player 1 has made the pass accross they must overlap player 3 to receive the ball
- Passes must be accurate
- Player making the overlapping run must communicate with player 4 to play a LEADING through ball
- Rotation is one cone to the right
Coaching Points
- Receive ball on the BACK foot (not outside, must be INSIDE)
- Overlapper must show acceleration after making the pass, but must time their run to meet the ball so they are not offside
