Explanation: 11v10 box to box/Box to Goal line. Blue in a 4-3-3 and Red set up in a 4231. Ball starts with the keeper in possession. normal game rules. Restarts with the Keeper in possession.

Timing: 2 x 5 mins

Team Task: Att: Combination play into the final third and convert goal scoring opportunities.

Blue is looking to penetrate the box via side and execute shots in high xG areas. 

Red sits in a defensive 1-4-2-3 block and counter-attacks on via wing. 

Blues start with GK, Red starts at given offside line to create space in behind. 

As no striker, blue defenders have 2 seconds to pass the ball. 

Key Points: Attack - width and depth, penetrate areas in behind defensive lines and play assist into high xG areas.

 Def: Togetherness and pride in defending and not giving away chances /// Transition moments to def a focus.

Progressions: Roar long ball / Patience in build up to maintain/ Occasional direct ball into striker in behind defense
