These animations are to act as a visual tool for Team NB U13 White and Burgundy players start to understand movement patterns when building out of the back in Zone 1 and Zone 2. Each of these examples is starting from the Fullback Low platform. Fullback Low is when our fullbacks are assisting in the build-up play with the centrebacks. They provide the platform to build our attack.
(These animations are just examples of possible pictures that you may see on the field. They offer ideas on potential solutions based on specific triggers.)

There will be times when the defending team is denying forward passing options. When this happens, we must look to find other ways to maintain possession. This includes a switch of play.
In this instance, notice how the wide forward's progress is blocked. The 10 is supporting alongside, but there are two defenders nearby.
When CB receives, examine options:

When we are in our Attacking Organization, we will look for movement patterns to create space.
The Attacking Midfielders -- 8 and 10 -- are the triggers for action.
In this instance, notice how 10 makes a channel run. This trigger signals the wide forward (7) to drop lower to create width receive from the fullback. That movement draws the fullback. The 10's channel run creates space for a pass.
If the 10 makes a channel run and the opposing fullback does not move up to defend the 7, then that would create space for the 7 to attack in the wide channel.

The Attacking Midfielders -- 8 and 10 -- are the triggers for action.
In this instance, you will see the 3 is blocked by the opposing winger. As well, a back pass is not an option given the 5 is marked.
The 10 sees this and supports alongside. This movement is a cue for the 7 and 9 to stay high to keep defenders out of that space.
The 10 now has space to receive. Her decisions at that point could be:

The Attacking Midfielders -- 8 and 10 -- are the triggers for action.
In this instance, you will see the 10 and 7 will swap rolls. The 10 will "roll out" to the wing. She is the trigger for the 7 to "roll in" toward the centre.
This movement is intended to destabilize the defenders.
Can the 10 receive the ball and attack forward quickly? If so, she should take that space. That will open up space elsewhere.
If the 7 can make a channel run from inside, can the 10 play her the ball into space? If so do it. If not, that run should draw out the defender and create space elsewhere.
Can the 7 and 10 combine for a pass into the attacking zone?

Objective is to always create a +1 numerical overload.
As the ball progresses up the field, we need to see trianges:
- We will look to see a midfield triangle of 6, 8 and 10.
- We will look to see a forward triangle that incorporates 11, 9 and 8 or 9, 7 and 10, depending on where the ball is
- Our Back 4 will also move up to support and should create triangles underneath once the ball goes forward, for instance with the 6, 4 and 2.
