Next is the rondo. In a rondo, there is a ring of players (in this case 9), with a certain amount in the middle (in this case 2). The 2 have to win the ball back, and when they win it back, the person who gave it away and one person to the left of them, goes in the middle. If one of the players in the middle is nutmegged, they will have to stay in for another round, and the same goes for if the players on the outside complete 20 passes, giving the players in the middle an extra motive to win it back.

In this shooting session, the coach will lay the ball off to a player, who has to shoot from the edge of the box and try to score. This practices the team's long range finishing, which will hopefully become match-effective. To add in a bit of competitiveness, once a player scores he goes to the back of the queue, but if he misses he is out. The team to run out of players first loses.

Half pitch match. For the players to be able to show what they have learned, they can only score from outside the box/centre circle.

Firstly, the u19s will do a warm up, including some jogging, high knees, heel flicks and other types of dynamic stretches. They will then go into some static stretches, just to make sure all muscles are warmed up and unlikely to be pulled. This will get the players in the right frame of mind for training too, as this can also act as a period for players to have a chat and get out of the way whatever they need to say, meaning that they aren't distracted for the rest of the session.
