Technical Receiving on front foot and dribbling (20 mins)
A- Player dribbles across
-One foot dominates the dribble (can add a skill))
B- Player then turns and passes to the next line
-Hips need to face target (prep touch to help set hips)
Coaching Points
When receiving the ball- toe up and open your hips in the direction you want the ball to move
When dribbling- one foot dominates and dribble at speed (tight touches)
Adding mannequins and doing the drill in a rectangle/square force the players to turn their hips more.
