8v6 small sided game with a 2v1 in defensive area , a 2v1 in midfield zone and 4v3 in attack (15 mins)
Set Up: 2 teams ,green team (8) and red team (6) ,defensive area marked from edge of the box, midfield box measuring 10x10 yards, 2 small goals, 1 big goal.
Method: Attackers have advantage in the defense and midfield. Attackers score in the small goals. Only players 1 in the red team can score in the defensive 2v1. Ball must be played to the CB's and into midfield before attackers can score in the small goals.
Coaching Points: Encourage players to make fast decisions based on the situation. In the 2v1 and 4v3 scenarios, attackers should recognize when to pass, dribble, or shoot. Defenders need to decide whether to press the ball carrier or cover passing lanes effectively. Stress the importance of clear and timely communication among players. In the 2v1 situation, the player with the advantage should communicate effectively with their teammate to coordinate their movements and exploit the numerical advantage.Teach players to switch quickly between attacking and defending mindsets. When the ball is lost, attackers need to transition to defensive positions immediately to regain possession. Similarly, defenders should be ready to transition to attack once they win the ball.Emphasize proper positioning to exploit the numerical advantage and create passing options. In the 2v1 defensive situation, the player should position themselves effectively to close down space and force attackers into less dangerous areas. In the midfield and attacking zones, attackers should move to create passing lanes and open spaces.,Instill the idea of being patient and choosing the right moment to execute actions. Attackers should wait for the right opportunity to play the ball to the center-backs and into midfield before attempting to score in the small goals. Defenders in the 2v1 situations should wait for the right time to press or delay attackers.

Passing combinations, crossing and attacking and defending 3v2 (15 mins)
Set Up: 2 areas set up in a square left and right side of the half way line all cones 10 yards apart. In the box a GK and 2 CB's who will have to run around the corner cones to be active in play.
Method: Play starts with players numbered 1-4 on the left side ,players are giving these numbers as this will be their passing combination, 1-2,2-3,3-4,4-1. The pass from 4-1 is played in between the cones of 2-3 and player 1 will carry the ball down the flank while players 2-3-4 will break for the box. As soon as the pass from 4-1 is played, red team defenders 2-3 will have to run around the cones set up at the corner of the pitch and make their way back to the box quickly to defend the 3v2 situation. Green team attempt to score on the keeper to earn a point while red team have to clear the ball to earn a point.
Coaching Points: Players in the attacking team must time their movements precisely and be effective in their communication making sure they are clear and concise to execute the passes smoothly. Be quick in the transitions, once the pass from 4-1 is played, players 2 and 3 on the red team must immediately sprint around the cones and recover defensively to create a solid defensive structure against the 3v2 situation. Encourage players to make quick and effective decisions under pressure. Player 1 carrying the ball down the flank should assess the situation and decide the perfect moment to attempt the cross. Work on the defensive players' ability to clear the ball effectively under pressure. Teach them techniques like controlled clearances, headers, or interceptions, and stress the importance of timing to prevent the green team from scoring.
