Building Up to Get Forward
Set Up:
Goals and footballs
Instructions:
GK plays the ball out of the back to the best option. The build up team continues to build out the back and get up the pitch. They look to pass the ball to the target players who look to go 1v1 with a defender and score on any of the three mini goals. Only the target players and those defending are permitted in the forward zone.
Progressions:
More challenging: Add touch restriction, reduce the playing area space
Less Challenging: Keep original set up

Instructions:

They look to pass the ball to the target players who look to go 1v1 with a defender. Only the defenders marking the target players are allowed to defend the target players and make tackles.

Set Up:
Use the full sized pitch if possible or 50/40 area. Supply of footballs in outside of each goal.
Instructions:
Organize both teams by giving them each a formation to play. Play for a predetermined amount of time and be sure to include a halftime interval for water break and rest.

Technical Warm Up (15 mins)
1.Rondos
Set Up:
Football, bibs, cones, and goals
Instructions:
Setup in the final third of the pitch, organize two areas for rondos – one left and right. 12 players for the rondo are required. A 6v3 rondo is played if the defending team wins the ball, they pass into their half. The team that loses the ball sends three players into the opposite half to try and win the ball back.
Progressions:
More challenging: Defenders can follow the attackers as they break out. Add a defender / goalkeeper
Less challenging: Increase the overload of the rondo.

Set up:
Cones/dots and footballs
Instructions:
Players play 2v2 in the central zone. a 1v1 is played in the other two zones, Teams look to score by getting a pass in to the target player who looks to cross the line dribbling the ball or receiving a pass across the line.

More challenging: Let two players move between zones
Less challenging: Keep original set up
