This session is to get the players thinking about how they can affect a game by working together. Who, Why, When, and Where of passing or traveling with the ball

2v1 Shooting
Description
Defender starts by passing the ball out to the attacker. Attackers then drive forward and try and score.
Progression
Progress to 3v2 (3Att, 2 Def). Demonstrate passing lanes (Show on a board if possible) and encourage movement
Coaching Points
Use the second player to create a one two.
Use the "Passing lanes"
If you feel you can beat the player take them on.
Defender try and cut out the pass, don't "dive in"
Curved run, jog then sprint, dummy run etc

SSG 5v3 Plus GK
Description
A small sided game to be played in a tight area. Offsides active. 1 Goal for a solo goal, 2 goals for a one two goal and three goals if all the team touch the ball (meaningful passes not 1 yard pass under no pressure)
Coaching points
Think about what we have been working on
Defenders can you "play offside" cut out the passing lanes etc
Attackers can you play a one two, think of your bodyshape, touch,pass and always scanning.
Think about your next move (Pass,Skill,Dribble,Shoot) before you recieve the ball

Description
Players need to keep the ball away from the defenders. The players on the inside can use the players on the outside to create a one, two.
Game will last 2 minutes and then swap people over.
Coaching points
Use the space you've got wisely.
How do you recieve the ball i.e body shape for a quick one, two pass.
Can you disguise the pass?
How do you know if someone is ready to recieve the ball? eye contact, They call for it or even you have planned something before?
