this grid is a stadium (Wembley)
4 sides of the stadium
the names of the 4 sides are
"royal box"
"scoreboard end"
"players tunnel"
"fans terrace"
coach from the sideline shouts a specific end and on this command all players must dribble towards that end and get there as quick as possible.
at each end of the stadium players must perfrom a specific action
scoreboard end- celebrate like they have scored a goal
royal box- curtesy to the queen
fans terrace-jump around like a celebrating soccer fan
players tunnel- Hand across your chest for the national anthem.
progression:
Additional fun items can be added like when players dribble to one end the coach can shout out "referee" all players must stand with their ball and stand like a statue. then the coach can shout "fan on the field" all players must dribble away from the coach that is trying to kick the ball out.

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
1v1 attacking
players are grouped in groups of 4
two players working on the outside of the grid working as servers
the other 2 one being a defender and being an attacker
the attacker attempts to beat the defender with a fake or skill and play to the server and that counts as a point
to sort have defenders jockeying and then when all players have had a turn attacking the defenders can start to tackle and a live.

Warm up:
4 players on the outside of the 2 gates around the playing area
4 players inside the playing area with the balls
unlimited touches
players with ball to pass to outside players through the gate and swap over and the player receiving the ball on the outside takes a touch through the gate to enter the main playing zone where they will dirbble and find another open gate to pass through and swap over
this rotation will carry on for 2 minutes 30 seconds.
after this rotation of 2 minutes players will progress and feedback to encourage different skills and different ways of dribbling with the ball using different parts of the foot and dribbling intensity.
progression:
players with ball in the area after passing to a player on the outside of the gates will then jockey the player coming into the zone and the player coming into the zone will then try to beat the player jockeying and then enter int the main area and continue dribbling and this will continue for another 2 minutes 30 with multiple repetitions and variety of skills this is a build for the second part of the session.
