ORGANIZATION
Two teams of 3-8 players based on size of playing area.
2 full-sized goals with goalkeepers
ACTIVITY
Teams play within area between goals, edges should be no closer than 22-25 yards from goal.
Players complete set number of passes before playing a teammate through for a 1v1 opportunity on goal.
Limit player touches to replicate pace of play around penalty area (eg. limit 2 touches).
Start with no recovering defenders allowing striker chance to create 1v1 situations.
VARIATIONS
1. Progress to match-like conditions - recovering defenders, 2nd attacker joins play, etc.
2. Players can go to goal right after a combination (1-2, overlap, 3rd man running, up-back-through)
3. Move grid from central to wide areas of the field, create entry passes from the flank
