Option zone 1 CBs 5 & 6 split box and show for pass. CDM 4 drops in and shows for pass and creates overload in zone 1. GK always open to receive pass back 4 v 2.
Option zone 2 Fullbacks/wingbacks 2 & 3 advanced up pitch showing width and stretching play. No overload but passing options open once opp MF press and move to engage. GK has option of middle distance pass/throw to 10. No clear advantage in zones 3 & 4 so risky to play long ball as no numerical advantage Although 10 could advance into zone 3 depending on options played.
