Set Up: Area size can vary dependent upon level, 22 x 11 yards divided in two can work to start. 10 players total [5 red, 5 white], [good supply of balls, pinnies, cones].
Activity: In one half of the box, reds play 5 v 3, with one white player on each end. Red attempts to make 4 passes, then play one of their players into the other half. If successful, they keep possession and attempt the same on the other side. The midway line should be used as an offsides line. If white win the ball, they look to play one of their players on the end to signal a change of possession, then two reds will drop off to the ends.
Progressions: [1] limit touches, [2] must play into other half on 1 touch,
Coaching Points: speed of play, movement of support, technique of first touch, receiving the ball, passing, control, awareness, angles of passes and runs.

5v5 to six goal
Two games of 5v5. Layout goals as shown. Flag goals are dribble through, cone goals are pass through. Mannequin is goal -- must hit feet for goal to count.
Coaching points:
Awareness on field -- play to easy goal, drop ball if you need to.
Speed of play -- have an idea before you play, so opposition cannot catch up
Technical excellence -- play the correct foot, touch the ball into the space you want. Be deliberate, precise.

5v5 +3v2
Play is 5v5 in midfield 35x44 area. Each team has three forwards v. two center backs in the attacking third. Play into forwards and they have eight seconds to score.
Coaching points:
Use possession to generate opportunity to play ball forward (combinations, awareness)
Forwards begin with width to expose defenders, combine quickly to score.
Technical excellence: every act must be deliberate and with precision.
Progressions:
Allow players to join in the attack after the pass.

Each movement will be different depending on what channel you are in. A: 3 toe touches on each of the 3 balls. B: 4 foundations on each of the 3 balls. C: Push/pull on each ball.
Return to back of line with different dynamic stretch (hip openers/ closers, helicopters, wrecking balls)
