Skills corridor to shooting and one v one
Three players start at the end of the corridor and dribble down using a skill determined by the coach
When they get to the blue cones, the left and righht hand players dribble around and attack the player in the channel 1v1 and then replace the defender for the next attacker. The middle player attacks the goal and tries to score, he replaced the goalkeeper after that play
Must touch two sides of the corridor and then keep the ball in the air on the way back down
Also can have 3v3 and go at oppostie ends but must not bump into each other.
P1 - use both feet, toe taps all the way, sole taps, inside/outsdie same foot, inside outside different foot.

Football Island into King of the Ring
Simple dribbling drill that can be advanced and manipulated for all ages and ability, great warm up or overall drill
Players move around island, staying away form the edge of the sea and keep moving but avoiding bumping into others (head up and close control, lots of little touches for control, big touches for speed)
Change speed, direction and move into a game of King of the Ring

1v1 Defend & Attack Speed Drill
Two lines of players start at opposite side, on the coaches command, they run straight up throught the opposite gate to them and then contest to the ball.
In te above example the green team must try and score and the red team to defend and pass the ball back to coach.
Speed of play (getting to ball), quick play, feints or tricks to go around the player and create the opportunity to score.
Defending must close down as quickly as possible, slowing before he gets to the player, sit donw on toes with equal balalnce on front and back foot. If possible, try and push player on weaker foot and stay beytween ball and goal, delay the play as much as possible.

3v3 Mini Games
Ideal end game for when fewer plyers are available or progression from overload & finishing practices before moving onto a proper 5v5 SSG. Coach to have lots of balls to keep play moving and feed into players when ball out of play and they are in some good space. If more than 6 players, set up two game so 12 players or if 9 players have three teams and play for 3-4 mins per game. Can introduce a floater or magic player if odd numbers.
Lots of different progression can be undertaken week by week to change the focus of the practice to offer different challenges, thought proccesses or desired outcomes to practices dribbling, RWB etc etc to link the end game to the theme of the session.
Using 3 players, keen to enhance triangular pass and move football, speed of play in the final third area, creative play when possible and utlisie 1v1 skills in the right area to exploit space and ultimiately score!
Rules - ball must not be over head height, all players must touch ball before scoring
In the above layout, progressions are:
P1 - make at least 5 or 10 passes before scoring
P2 - one player must stay in home zone be that 1 or 3 depending on what team you are
P3 - must score with first touch
P4 - must dribble into end zone to score a goal
P5 - must pass to a player standing in the end zone to score (encourages good counter attacks)
P6 - all players must be in the opponents attacking third before scoring (so 1 or 3)
P7 - one player must be in the attacking zone at all times, defenders cannot join him until the ball is touched by him
P8 - one player must be in the attacking zone at all times, defenders cannot join him until the ball is touched by him BUT striker in this zone cannot score (must pass before scoring)
P9 - one player must make an overlap or blind sided run before scoring
P10 - must score diagonally
P11 - score by lofted ball into end zone that must be controlled & stopped within the end zone area
P12 - put goals out of order during play (must switch to other side to score)

Jailbreak (15 mins)
Jailbreak
Two teams at either end in their own coloured grid with the opposing team having bibs hanging out of the back of their shorts. Idea is the try and take the bib out of their shorts and take back to the corresponding home.
If their bib gets taken they go to jail.
First tema to get all of the bibs wins round 1!
P1 - same game, they can now resuce their own team and bring them back into play by taking one of the bibs of their own colour and giving them to one of the jail birds!
Players use speed, change of direction and keeping the other players in sight to win the game!
