Inside players move around finding a ball to receive in air and volley to other player without ball

Groups of 2
Wide player(s) for serving crosses - outside backs
Activity:
1) Coach throws headers to the defenders
2) Coach passes ball out wide for defenders to deal with cross to 2 attacking players
3) 2 attackers with a ball each dribble at defenders who must push out of box and deny shot (no stabbing)

2 teams with 4 lines.
1 neutral who is all time #9 for attacking team.
Activity:
Flying changes.
If ball scores, goes out, or GK saves it then switch teams.
Coaching Points:
+ Use of #9 to unsettle defense - play balls to feet OR runs in behind
+ Limiting straight runs off the ball (diagonal & overlap)
+ Creating 2v1's - isolate a defender

Activity:
Normal soccer rules. If team scores they can't score for 2 minutes; other team has that time to tie it up.
Coaching Points:
+ Kickoff play
+ 6/8/10 marking
+ throw-ins in midfield - 7/11 push much higher; body contact
+ throw-ins in attack - clear out for Bunnage
+ defending throws - 7/11 mark thrower; 2/3 don't let ball over head
