The session: 3v3 + 2 possesion
- The Red players on outside at each end act as neutrals
- Blue and yellow play keep away from each other with help of Red team
- Teams score points by transferring the ball from one end to the other
- Play 3 x4 minute (swap neutral players at each break)

The Session:
- Players are divided into two teams (Red and Blue) as shown in the image.
- Blue team is defending as one of their players (C) stands in the center on the side and simulates a wrong pass in to the opponent's player (D) from the attacking Red Team and moves in to defend.
- Player (D) from Red Team with the ball and another player (E) from Red Team look to counter-attack and get forward quickly and finish into the goal.
- If a goal is scored or ball goes out of play, next two players (A, B) from the defending Blue Team dribble a ball in to counter-attack.
- Player (C) from the defending Blue Team that's already in the field accompanies the two players (A, B) from Blue Team to create a 3v2 to counter-attack in the opposite direction.
Progressions:
- Make it timed to finish the attack and score.

THE SESSION:
Start approximately 30-40 yards from the goal. 3 attackers have 5-10 yards head start. Goalkeeper and 1 defender 5 yards from the goal Coach on the side with the balls
Set up: 3 attackers facing one defender and goalkeeper and behind them three defenders ready to come on when the ball is played, simple to begin with we start with the ball in the center attacker and center attacker played the ball other to the left or to the right. So the situation is 3 attackers and 1 defender and the goalkeeper.
Attacker in the center passes left or right or dribbles. Coach shouts 1-2 or 3 to indicate the number of defenders. Attackers attempt to score. Defenders must press, delay and recover.
Coach shouts 1 and 1 defender recovers. 1st Defender near goal applies delayed pressure to the ball carrier. Recovery defender supports. Keeper and 1st defender communicate to recovering defender.
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS: Press, Delay, and Make play predictable-reduce options.
Keeper; positioning to prevent goal, communicate to both defenders.
Recovery defender is able to intercept a pass. Must include a defensive objective. Defenders transition well and score.
Increase challenge; Greater starting distance for attackers. Fewer recovery defenders.
Decrease challenge; require attackers to combine at least twice. Start 1st defender higher.
