Organization:
4 cones in 'Y' shape
10 yards from start line to far cones 'C'
5 yards from start line to first cone 'B'
5 to 8 yards from cone 'B' to cones 'C'
Players line up at 'A' with ball
Instructions:
2 to 3 minutes on each variation. Rest between variations with dynamic stretch, Quick Feet Series (front to back, side to side, 1-2 hold, jumps)
Variation 1 - Pass, Lay-off, Pass, Dribble:
Players on each cone, remaining players line up at 'A' with one ball each.
Player at 'A' passes ball to player at 'B'
Player at 'B' passes ball back to player at 'A'
Player at 'A' passes ball to either player at 'C' (alternate sides).
Player at 'A' runs to 'B'
Player at 'B' runs to 'C'
Player receiving ball at 'C' dribbles ball to back of line at 'A'
Variation 2 - Pass, Turn, Combination:
Players on each cone, remaining players line up at 'A' with one ball each.
Player at 'A' passes ball to player at 'B', jogs to 'B'
Player at 'B' turns, passes ball to player at 'C' (alternate sides) and jogs to 'C'
Player at 'C' passes ball to player jogging to 'C'
Player jogging to 'C' passes ball one touch/1 - 2 back to player runngin from 'C' to back of line at 'A'

Session Overview:
Goal - All players and coaching staff have a clear understanding of how to attack a corner kick.
Session Outline:
1. Introduction – Attacking Responsibilities of Team
(i) Be organized, communication, be the first to the ball, understand and be accountable to your responsibilities
2. Lecture – Attacking Corner #1
(i) Cornerkick Distribution - 1 Hand up- Near Post, 2 Hands Up-Far post, Hands on Hip – PK-Top of the 6. Must be able to hit zone that they are communicating to players.
(ii) Player on Goalkeeper – Position yourself so its hard for the GKer, once set hold position, don’t foul just be a distraction, must be disciplined.
(iii) Runners – Aggressive, loose your defender, be first to the ball
(a) Runner 1: Get to the near post zone
(b) Runner 2: Get to the far post zone
(c) Runner 3: Get to the Central zone
(d) Runner 4: Get to the PK mark, slightly behind runner 3
(iv) Framing the Box – Be ready for anything that is a poor clearance or played to the top of the box, take risk.
(v) Players Defending – Balance, if attacker is staying high, 1 in front and 1 behind. MUST BE FIRST TO THE BALL OUT! If needed, delay, delay, delay!
(vi) Goalkeeper – Top of the 18, ready for counterattack

5. Lecture – Attacking Corner #2
(i) Cornerkick Distribution – Players must be on the same page. Players must be able to read what is on and use improvisation. Overlap to a service farpost. If overlap is not on, player on ball makes a decision.
(ii) Player on Goalkeeper – Position yourself so its hard for the GKer, once set hold position, don’t foul just be a distraction, MUST BE DISCIPLINED!
(iii) Runners – TIMING! Must be able to read the players on the ball. Aggressive, loose your defender, be first to the ball
(a) Runner 1: Get to the near post zone for anything under hit
(b) Runner 2: Get to the far post zone
(c) Runner 3: Get to the Central zone
(d) Runner 4: Get to the Far post zone, slightly behind runner 2
(e) Runner 5: Create space for overlapping player, frame top of the box
(f) Runner 6: Get back post for anything over hit
(iv) Framing the Box – Timing, movement to top of the box to create time and space for the overlap. Be ready for anything that is a poor clearance or played to the top of the box, take risk.
(v) Players Defending – Balance, if attacker is staying high, 1 in front and 1 behind. MUST BE FIRST TO THE BALL OUT! If needed, delay, delay, delay!
(vi) Goalkeeper – Top of the 18, ready for counterattack

8. Lecture – Attacking Corner #3
(i) Cornerkick Distribution – A pretends like they are going to serve ball, B bends run and creates angle to serve far post. C slides over to create balance. Player A must play a ball that B can 1 touch depending on pressure.
(ii) Player on Gker – Position yourself so its hard for the GKer, once set hold position, don’t foul just be a distraction, must be disciplined.
(iii) Framing the Box – Timing, movement to top of the box. Be ready for anything that is a poor clearance or played to the top of the box, take risk.
(iv) Runners – Aggressive, loose your defender, be first to the ball
(a) Runner 1: Get to the near post zone for anything under hit
(b) Runner 2: Get to the far post zone
(c) Runner 3: Get to the Central zone
(d) Runner 4: Get to the Far post zone, slightly behind runner 2
(e) Runner 5: Fame top of the box.
(f) Runner 6: Get back post for anything over hit.
