Organization:
Players work in 4's, they dribble to middle line and TURN (this turn must match with your stop-start)
Players progress to doing there STOP-START on the middle line and turn on end line
Players make eye contact to start next player going

2. EXECUTION of the technique as well as timing
3. EXIT - Distance (what is next action) and Direction of touch

Organization:

Instructions:
Same as tag game but now players are trying to score in either goal - 2 for furthest goal, 1 for nearest (we want to put them in an attacking mindset and to look to penetrate)
If defender block ball they score by dribbling over side line behind attacker (promote transition)
Coaching Points:
1. Same as activity 1 - Decision WHEN, WHERE and WHY to do turn/stop-start
Progressions:
Defenders can now cross over middle line to steal the ball
Attackers have 1 touch after turn (increase speed of play)

Organization:
2 Channels set up with 4 cones per line
Set up both sides where necessary
Instructions:
Players race against each other, they have 7 seconds to beat their opponent
Attacker (furtherst from channel) wins by crossing EITHER end line arms length ahead of opponent
Defender (nearst to channel) wins by stopping attacker winning
Players switch lines after every race
Race is started by players NOT the coach (start when previous race ends)
Coaching Points:
1. Space Ahead - Attack it at speed
2. Identification of defender/space
a) Defender alongside/Space ahead = Stop-Start
b) Defender alongside/Space behind = Turn
c) Defender ahead = Turn
d) Defender behind = Speed
Progressions:
the finish line now the line nearest the goals so they have to cut across the defender to score. Defender would score by tagging attacker when they entered there channel.
