2v2 and 3v3
Essence:
Contionus game play - playing under fatigue
Specific interval training
18-12 players needed + 2gk
Structure:
Conditioning ratio: 3:1 (6min/2min)
2v2 - Players play for 3mins flat out with one team sitting out.
Rules:
Play for 3mins and teams can score from anywhere on the field
Team X: 3/40 3/40 (3min40s break)
Team Y: 3/40 (3min 40s break) 3/40
Team Z: (3min 40s break) 3/40 3/40
3v3:
In their groups of 6 they make 2 teams of 3. Teams will play for 3mins and rest for 1min.
Rules:
Players can only score beyond the p-spot and edge of the circle.
The trainer can implement specific rules like the following:
No back passes until you enter a specific area
If you score within the 3min period you get a extra player for 20s (applying to 2v2)
Pointers:
Games are used to condition players and teach them basic tactics - counter attack and counter defence, defensive structure, build-up.
Basic techniques - marking, movement, decision making
Variations:
2v2:
+ trainer can add player
+ increase space
+ more than one goal
+ contionous scoring - if you score you try to score again
- decrease area
- mark out scoring area
3v3:
+ can score from anywhere (SAFETY!!!)
+ add specifc rules
+ remove gk
+ increase area
- decrease area
- shorten rest period
