SETUP - Full Width x 30 yds long 6 v 6 + 3,
- Each team defends two small goals and attacks two small goals making it a directional game
- GKs are bumpers on outside: Players can target their hands.
- (Specific central players) are neutral 6s taking turns
- Before scoring, attacking team must connect with BOTH wide bumpers, then score a goal
- 3-touch inside, 2-touch for bumpers
- Play Three 8-minute rounds
PROGRESSIONS - 2-touch, 1-touch
- 7 passes is also a point
- Wall passes are also a point
COACHING POINTS:
- Look to SPOA quickly to create numerical advantage/overload on weak side
- Awareness, scan the field, owl head to SPOA whenever possible.
- Movement off the ball, tactical awareness to force defenders to make decisions and try to play off of defenders' shoulders and beyond lines
SPOA OBJECTIVES: 1.Can we provide width and depth 2.Can we look to play forward first 3.Is there an across field switch available? (Switch) 4.Can we play around them using the deepest lying player and out to the other side? (Switch)

SETUP - Full width (70y?) x 60y, 8 (4-1-3) vs 6 (4-2) plus G.K. Blue play to large goal, yellow to 2 small gates.
COACHING POINTS - 1- How quick can you switch the ball? What helps you to do so? (Receiving touch and quality of the pass) 2- Where should the wide player be? Why? In a place where he has big space to exploit, and where he is isolated with 1 defender. 3- What should be the option 1 for the player on the ball? What’s option 2? 4- What should the closest player to the wide player do? Try to create 2 vs 1 situation. When should he move? When the ball is travelling.

1-touch only, longest player in the middle comes out, player who made mistake goes in to defend.
Attackers' Objective: 7 Passes and defenders are in again
PROGRESSIONS A) Start with stringing passes together.
B) Goal is to move ball from one side player to other side player.
Defending Coaching Points:
- Start recognizing cues for when to press: Slow pass, poor touch, ball in air, back turned, etc.
- Start in low pressure/cover, then look to spring a press on them at the right moment.
- Communicate: "I go!" "Force left!"
Positional Play Coaching Points:
- Body position open
- Use the front foot whenever possible
- Adjust your spacing constantly: 1 low, 1 high off shouders breaking lines
