Wide Crossing Attacking Game (20 mins)

Organization 

  • Double 18 Box 

  • Goalkeeper in each goal 

  • 2 Attackers and 1 Defender in each zone with 1 server on each side 

Details

  • Goalkeeper starts with ball looking to play to outside server who Servers a cross into attackers 

  • ( Start With Throws and see if they can serve from ground in later rounds... *** consistent Service is important) 

  • Goalkeeper Collects Cross and plays out to server

  • Attackers finish anything they can 

  • Try to Minimize Contact

Organization 

  • 2 Goals 
  • Goalkeepers in groups of 3 ( add outside players if group is larger) 
  • Balls split between nets 
  • 3-5 minute games 

Details 

  • Open game within the grid but everyone is on 3 touch max 
  • In possession team only uses feet / out of possession team can use hands 
  • When team scores they get the ball again and team that was scored on changes goalkeeper

1 Player top of the D 

2 Players just inside corner of 18 ( for younger group make it closer) 

Details 


 Players on corner of the D start with ball in their hands

They can either hit a half volley or throw to player inside 18 who throws an overhand throw to goal 

After Decision is make , player at top plays to opposite side Corner of the D who can bounce back to top of D for a strike , or they can play to far opposite side player for an angled strike
