Setup:
2 teams
20x15 grid setup out wide
Activity:
Ball comes in from midfielder, defender limited to grid. Attacking team tries to combine and penetrate out wide. Once through, serve a cross to attackers in the box.
Take turns -- left side, then right side
Progression:
+ Add more numbers
+ Compete
Coaching Points:
~ #7/11 movement inside --> initiates #8 decision on ball
~ #7/#2 working opposite of each other - different vertical lines
~ Movement of runners in the box (opposite, then slashing in front of defenders between the posts)
~ Decision on service type -- earlier, low, near post, far post

Big goal on one end, counter goals on the other
Activity:
Attacking team tries to score in big goal (3 points).
Defending team tries to score in counter goals (1 point).
Defending team is stuck in their zones
Progressions:
+ Add more defending numbers
+ Different starting positions of the ball (goal kick, throw-ins)
+ Remove zones
Coaching Points:
~ Creating overloads out wide
~ Crosses from dangerous zones near endline
~ If defense cheats to handle overloads out wide, then penetrate centrally
