Set Up:
- Set up long and (relatively narrow field), ideally over half a pitch
- 2 teams in each corner, balls all on one corner.
- 1 player at 25 with 1 ball
Drill:
1. Player at 25 walks into D and shoots top D.
2. As soon as shot is completed 1 blue player can attack the orange goal, in the meantime a orange defender joins in and they play a defensive 2:1. Play continues until an outcome is reached (goal, counter attack goal, PC, sideline, baseline)
3. At the moment the last set is completed a new blue player starts from the corner, all previous players stay active and 1 new orange player joins. It is now a defensive 3vs2. Play continues until an outcome is reached (goal, counter attack goal, PC, sideline, baseline)
4. This repeats until all players are on the pitch.
5. Change attack and defence after 3 sets
Focus Points:
Overall: High Intensity, Win transition, track back
Attack: Maximum Intensity
Defence: Pressure on the ball, channel towards spare defender, aggressive tackling
