Organization:
1.30 x 30 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players set up as shown
3.1 ball per player
4.Assign each side a number or a fun team name (Try MLS teams, countires, Premire league teams ETC.)
Instructions:
1.Coach calls number one or two or can use fun team names
2.Players on the corresponding sides to the number called & dribbling with the ball to the opposite sides
3.Players race each other to stop ball on opposing line
Coaching Points:
1.Positive first touch out of the feet
2.Head up and observe situation
3.Head down when playing the ball to ensure good contact
4.Play with the laces of the foot closest to the ball
5.close control
Progressions:
P – Call both numbers at the same time to make players make a decision on when to run with the ball and when to dribble R – Each side is given its own number (1 - 4), and numbers are called out one at a time

Organization: 3v3 set up as shown, with endones
Instructions:
Team Scores by dribbling into their attacking endzone
Players will match up with a player on the opposing team and can only defend that player
Coaching Points:
Head up when dribbling to observe position of defender and open space to dribble in to
Messi touches when defender is close or when in a congested area of the field
Ronaldo touches when there is space in front of you to exploit

Organization:
4v4 Small-sided tournament games: 4 teams of 4 players each team. 2 fields of 30x40 yards with 2 Pugg Goals on opposite endlines.
Instructions:
4 Teams of 4, play 4v4 tournament style where each team will play one another. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss. Each game should be approximately 6-8 minutes in duration (play a 3 game tournament).
Coaching Points:
· Review of session's learning outcomes being translated into the game
· 3 lines of attack
· Creating diamond (angles of support)
· Making diamond as big as possible (Creating space)
· Identifying when you have numbers up opportunities
Progressions:
-(Optional) Limit touches
-(Optional) Add a passing quota( must complete X amount of passes before shooting)
-(Optional) Combine 4 teams into 2 and either combine the 2 smaller grids or play half/full field.

Juggling/Ball Mastery (15 mins)
Organization:
Players in the grid shown with a ball each.
Instructions:
Players begin to juggle the ball in the area. Specialized chalenges appropriate to their individual skill level will be given to each player.
Progress into ball mastery through dribbling, with rules that they must stay within the boundaries of the grid and cannot run into each other. Begin to introduce Ronaldo and Messi touches, the surfaces of the foot with which to dribble the ball, and the importance of keeping our head up. Encourage specific turns such as L-turn and pull back.
Coaching Points:
Knees slightly bent
On our toes to be able to adjust our body
Proper surface to play the ball
Messi and Ronaldo Touches
Introduction to moves
Progressions:
Progress into players finding space on command. Any player in the most amount of space when the coach says "Freeze" gets a point.
-Add in 1 or 2 taggers who try to simply put their foot on another players ball, if they do that player is frozen and can only be unfrozen if tagged by a teammate.
