Builders & Destroyers
Description: Place cones, water bottles or toys from around the house in the middle of the space. These items will be used as obstacles to knock over and stand up. The parent(s) is the Builder, and your child is the Destroyer which they will have a BLUE to help knock cones over. Builders are in charge of putting up the cones using the feet only. Destroyers are to kick BLUE into the cones to knock them over. Destroyers must keep track of their own BLUE. Switch sides after some time.
Coaching Points: Make sure that Destroyers get BLUE close enough to the cone and has a powerful enough kick to knock over the cone. Builders must use the bottom of their foot to stand the cones up with no hands. Have the builders use airplane arms to help balance when standing up cones.
Progression: Have kids count how many cones they either knock down or put up. Add more cones. Add more Builders.
