Entering the Farmhouse
Create a circle of cones in the middle which represent the Farmhouse
Farmer Coach needs all equipment & will allow players to rest but they are too muddy
Farmer Coach pretends to be asleep - all players will think its ok to enter the Farmhouse then
When Framer Coach wakes up he will get all players who are muddy out of the house
Coaches to allow players to come in whilst 'sleeping' then chase all players out of the circle
Coaches to pretend not to notice players dribbling through the circle & admit defeat at the end that the farmhouse will be dirty
Players will find funny but coach needs to be be watching players ball control
Coaching points -
Keeping the ball close to not clash into other players
Touch out of feet when getting chased by the farmers
Small turns when attempting to go back through the farmhouse
Players to be ready for games after. Coach to bring players into ask questions where they have been & what football skills they have learnt on the way.
*Coach needs to be active, animated & fun in this session or it wont go as coach planned.

Warm up
Introduction from Farmer Coach welcoming the children to his farm - lay down the farm rules (Listen to farmer & have fun)
Farmer to ask children what type on animals live on the farm & they will warm up by doing that movement around the area
Cow = go slow
Chicken = Go fast with lots of steps
Pig = 3 steps then roll over
Horse - Bigger strides
Introduce ball (Tractor) - pig now = 3 toe taps then roll, horse now = sole roles infront of player
Progression - Working on the farm
Players are to be put to work on the farm, place cones down on all 4 sides on the hall creating pens for the animals. Players are now looking after the animals, making sure they have everything they need
Coach to ask what type of food do we need for the animals?
Players to dribble to each corner to check on animals
Coaching Points -
Close control of the ball (Don't crash Tractor)
Small touches
Scanning where other players are
Once they arrive at an animal pen -
Ball rolls = cleaning the pen
Toe Taps = Giving the animals food
Fast feet (Penguin feet - don't use penguin for this session as they will confuse with being on a farm)
Step over - locking up the pen
Second Progression - Catch the animals
The animals have escaped their pens whilst players were getting a drink & we need to catch them
Coach to scatter as many bibs & cones in the area as possible
Players to dribble round collecting the animals (bibs) and taking them back to their pens
Players then use locks (cones) to make sure they are safely back in the pen.
