Technical Dribbling
45 Minutes
2 Teams
1. Players free dribble for 2 minutes, any moves they want
2. L Turn - 3 minutes
3. Scissor - 3 minutes
4. Iniesta Roll - 3 minutes
5. V pull - 3 minutes
Encourage players to dribble at eachother to perform move to simulate pressure
Progression Game: 10 minutes
1 team attacking, 1 team defending, all players with ball.
attacking team looking to dribble into zones as many times as possible without getting tagged. Defending team gets a point for each tag, attacking team gets point for each dribble into zone
Progress to shielding ball away from defender - 15 minutes
1. manipulate ball with sole - no pressure
2. partner up with someone from other team, shielding ball
3. receiving to shield

Focus on being creative to get passed defender, make proper decision
Attacking player sprints around marker at top of arc, defender performs agility through markers to get into court to defend.
Ball passed in from coach to attacking player
+1 for dribbling through gate
+3 for scoring on big goal
Rotate teams after 5 minutes
Coaching points:
1. body shape to receive
2. shape of foot to receive
3. creativity to beat defender
4. decision making to correct goal
5. sell fake to change direction
Progression: add 2nd attacker coming from side. Must do agility through gates and support target
(Alevin can add 2nd defender)
Alternate rules: players must make a change of direction before scoring
