Description
Ball starts with the feeders.
1) Players move towards the feeder, play a bounce pass, then go back to their cone.
2) Repeat above but add back pedal after bounce pass to your cone then run to back of opposite line
3) Repeat above but instead of running to opposite line, players shuffle to the opposite side
4) Keep the same as progression 3 but now have ball in hands from feeders and introduce volleys
5) Add a header (close short header on 1 cone, high jumping header on 2nd cone)
* Swap feeders every 30 seconds (do it on the run with a whistle blow, dont need to stop the drill)
* Complete dynamic stretching every 3-4 mins

Description:
10v6 in 20x12m box
Start/restart from 3/4/6 (Stay on outside. 2/5/9 stay on outside too).
Rotate players after 9 mins.
Blues inside can rotate but try to keep shape whilst reds can defend two in reach square.
Blues 2/5 can't play directly to 9 but can receive it from 9.
To score: Blue have to find the 9 and score in small goals whilst red win possession and make a pass.

Description: 3 v 2 transition to cross
Attackers: Not to make the same two runs as teammate, no running in a straight line, try to overlap and run off the shoulder which either creates space to penetrate with a dribble or find a pass to spare man.
Attackers: Good timing of movement into the box attacking the ball from a crossing area, fill spaces (Front, back post, cut back)
Defenders: Press cover principles, try to isolate attacker and block passing lane to create a 2 v 2 and/or 1 vs 2. Quick to close down space, block any shots on goal with good technique (not turning the body). High level of communication and encourage positive defensive actions
Defenders: Attack the ball from a cross, read the body shape and angle of run from the crossing player to determine area which he will cross the ball into, clear the ball up and out away from penalty area.
Goalkeepers: Good communication, high encouragement.
WB: JM, Jordi, Macca, Lachie. Split the rest into two teams.
