1v1 activity where the attacker looks to be the defender to get a cross in the box. The attacker must stay in the channel between the cones and 18-yard line whilst the defender can not enter the channel. Channel's are 5 yards wide and run parallel with 18 yard box lines.
Progressions:
Work both sides
Add a central channel running along the top of the 18 yard box so the attacker can cut inside to shoot

Keep your eye on the ball
Block the cross

4v3 game to goal and mini-goals. The field is split into three channels with a 1v1 in each and one support player who can be used for ball retention. Players must stay within their channels except the support player who must stay behind the play. The attacking team must play into a wide channel before they can go to goal. If the defending team win it they look to score in the counter goals.
Progressions:
Allow 1 attacker and 1 defender to move into a different channel to create 2v2
Allow free movement of all players.

Covering positions of 2nd defender
