Main focus is Passing and Receiving. So we should not be coaching anything else off that topic. Unless the exercise is struggling to get the passing and receiving out of it because of something like spacing, then you can bring it up briefly. But do not try to coach to much in such little time.

Setup: 2 or 3 fields depending on numbers. Make sure there is enough space for the players to connect passes. Not too easily but they do need to have success.
4v4 (Red going left, Blue going right)
3 players in attacking half and one player in defending half.
Always a 3v1 in the attackers favor.
Have to connect two passes before scoring.
Notice: goals are a few yards outside the grid so the defender can not stand right in front of it.
Encourage the passing! Do not worry about spacing and positioning too much, if it is poor enough to where they are not able to connect any passes because of it then you can address it a little bit. But the main focus is passing and receiving.
Make sure to switch the defender with an attacker every few minutes.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Go to big goals, or one goal and two counter goals in you only have one goal or one goalkeeper.
We still need to encourage passing and receiving so we will put the restriction that you need to string 3 passes before scoring. You can raise the number or lower it to 2 depending on the age and skill level of your team. You may also give one point for a goal, 2 points for stringing 5 (or other number depending on age and skill level of team) passes together in a row.
