Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Attaching corner - Short

CM1 makes run towards RF when RF shapes up to take corner.

Attention of the defenders will be on CM1. RF plays the ball back to RB who has 2 options.

1) If space run with the ball before crossing or shooting

2) Cross the ball first time aiming for the shaded area.

CB,CB,LF wait for as long as possible to ensure they stay on side and can attack the ball infront of them rather than from a standing position. (ball delivered into shaded area)

The other option is to play into CM1's feet as he moves towards RF. He now has 3 options.

1) Play back to RF

2) Turn and cross or shoot.

3) Lay the ball bak to RB who crosses first time or takes the ball into space before crossing or shooting.

CM2 moves forwards as play develops to pick up any ball that drop around the edge of the box.
