Set Up
6 players and 2 balls working at the same time. The distances in the practice can be manipulated depending on what you want to work on
Player A to B to C to D. The ball will go out the opposite side on the second rotation playing through E.
Players move on one place each time. (OR B plays to alternate corners).

Movement off ball - Timing of run to receive - Weight, timing and accuracy of pass.- Awareness

Set up grid according to age of players. Have players play in the outside of grid and each player on th corner will have a ball at their feet.
All players in corner will quickly dribble to center and pass
The player receiving the pass will receive with appropriate foot and using good first touch will quickly dribble to center to repeat the pass
The player making the pass will follow and go to next corner
Continue one way and then change direction so that players can work on their opposite foot
Focus on
- Dribbling technique and keeping th ball in front of them under control
- Picking their head up and making an accurate pass
- Player receiving the ball preparing themself to receive pass and first touch
- Eye contact and communcation

Progression:
All players in corner will quickly dribble to center and pass and prepare themselves to receive a pass back followed by a wall pass to space for player makng a run
The player will get ball under control before making the next pass and follow same sequence
Recommend start with 1 ball in corner as a demo
The player making the wall pass will follow and go to next corner
Continue one way and then change direction so that players can work on their opposite foot
Focus on
- Dribbling technique and keeping th ball in front of them under control
- Picking their head up and making an accurate pass and communicating to get the ball back and seeing the visual cue of the run and timing
- Eye contact and Communcation
- Technique of locking ankle and weight of pass

Organization:
50x40 yard area set up as shown
12 players (2 teams of 4, 4 Neutrals, 2 Goalkeepers) set up as shown
1 ball (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
Playing 4v4
Have two players as neutrals at the side lines, minimize their touches 3,2,1.
Look to see ways of using different passing techniques depending on situation
Coaching Points:
Angle of approach – pending on the passing technique
Supporting foot next to the ball, pointed towards target
Disguise pass (Push Pass – inside, outside/Low driven, Lofted, Chip, Swerve – inside, outside).
Progressions:
Make the field small, allow ing less time on the ball to help with decision making ability with the ball

Instructions:
Teams score by knocking their opposition’s balls off the cones.
1st to knock down all 4 balls is the winner
Coaching Points:
Supporting foot is next to the ball, pointed at target
Ankle locked, toe up
Follow through towards target with striking foot remaining open throughout
Body weight over the ball
Progressions:
Make the amount of balls the players have to knock off smaller
If it is taking a while to knock the balls down, make the field larger so there is more room to play
