principles exploiting key danger areas (high percentage of goals come from)
Key Factors
timing of run, change of pace, arrive at pace, areas to attack(second six yard line), weight of pass, type of pass, purpose and aggression to score.
Organisation
2 18 yard boxes with 4 yard channel in-between
2 manikins protecting six yard line area.
balls coming in from assist area sideline of penalty box
2 minutes on 6 minute blocks x 3
crossers must touch deliver no still balls, attackers one touch finish
I want to see a change of pace attacking the penalty area from edge of box
2 teams of 6 team with most goals wins.
dependant on numbers may add 1 defender each goal instead of manikins

A 3-5-2 PLAYING AGAINST 4-3-3
taking out 2 defenders and 3 forwards for defending team
working with the attackers our aim is to penetrate and find best solutions to get into target areas
(assist area zone 2 and main area zone 1)
Key points ill be looking for the players to implement my key principles in attacking play.
brave, ownership to play forward
Confidence in receiving the ball
intelligence when to play around, through or over.
Space awareness to create overloads and find spare player.
Think clearly under pressure to express and create
Organisation 3 blocks of 8 minutes
block 1
using half of the pitch attacking team trying to score defensive team pass into mini goal or run ball between gates for goals. ball will always start on half way with attackers cb. first block cb isn't allowed to leave d and is passive defensively. cones on bye line indicate zones for players to penetrate 1 red zone our first thought can we play forward through middle of the pitch if not can we get success in zone 2 assist area where most goals are created. last thought zone 3 wider crosses.
challenges my assistant will manage the defenders and set the challenge of an aggressive press by his team to try and win the ball back at every occasion. if they win ball back they have 8 seconds to score.
solution can my team realise this and using the game model principles, be brave and play forward through the press by outplaying 1v1 and breaking lines to isolate cbs in zone 1 or 2 as soon as possible. wing backs coming deep dragging fb with them to create the space for our centre forwards to isolate the cb. can we isolate 1v1 duels with space to attack.

solution
ssure to lowthinking clearly under pressure to play quick and from higher pressure to low. we do this by playing back to switch play as quick and direct as safely possible.creating a numerical advantage on the opposite side of the pitch to penetrate zone 2 using our 8 staying wide and creating overloads with wing back.
